About Metalized Ceramics

Metalized Ceramics for Electronics, Inc. of East Butler, Pennsylvania was established in 1969. From very humble and limited production capabilities, Metalized Ceramics for Electronics, Inc. has gradually grown over the years and has built a diversified customer base throughout the United States and Europe. Our present facilities have been designed specifically for the efficient production of ceramic-to-metal seals. All materials are subject to inspection as soon as they are delivered to our plant and must meet rigid standards of quality and specifications. Strict quality controls are maintained by constant testing at all stages of production.

Metalized Ceramics for Electronics, Inc. has several types of brazing furnaces that allows us to customize the brazing cycle to take into account the various metals, braze materials, the atmosphere and the ceramics. Electronic instruments and pyrometric cones are used to control and record the temperature and atmospheric conditions in the kilns. The finest testing devices available today are used throughout the production process. Because of all the quality controls we produce a product of uniform high quality that meets the highest standards of industry.

We work closely with our customers during the planning stages, and our early participation has proved invaluable to our customers whether it is designing a new product or upgrading an existing one. We will make short runs of prototypes for customer approval prior to full scale production.
